1968-1989 all year: numerous colonies in the villages and hamlets where they contribute to the death of the large Khaya senegalensis trees (apparently by stripping the young leaves). One colony resisted six years of systematice destruction of all reproduction (biomonthly desctruction of all the nests, which they recosntruct simultaneously. There are also smallcoclonies in the bush where the nests are dispersed in several small trees.
