Un des 'mange-mils' du Niger, selon la population locale. Un oiseau, et une image, superbe! Celui-ci est sur un épi de 'shibra', une forme primitive de mil à très petits grains qu'on trouve surtout dans des endroits érodés dans les champs de mil.
One of Niger's 'millet-eating birds', according to the local people. A gorgeous bird, and photo! This one is on a head of 'shibra', a genetic throwback of pearl millet with very small seeds that one finds especially in eroded parts of millet fields.
